Applications: MOLPEROX® Mg functions as an oxygen-releasing and deodorizing agent in select cosmetic, personal care and oral care formulations. Its controlled oxygen-release properties make it suitable for toothpaste, tooth powders, mouth cleansing formulations and other personal care applications.

1 Characters It occurs as a white or slightly yellow, amorphous, light powder.

(A) Specified test. It gives reaction of magnesium
(B) Specified test. The solution becomes colourless with evolution of gas.
3 Solubility It is practically insoluble in water and in ethanol (96%). It dissolves in dilute mineral acids.
4 Appearance of solution Solution is not more intensely colored than reference solution B4.
5 Acidity or alkalinity Specified test.
6 Acid insoluble substances Not more than 0.1%.
7 Soluble substances Not more than 1.5%.
8 Chlorides Not more than 0.1%.
9 Sulfates Not more than 0.5%.
10 Arsenic Not more than 4 ppm.
11 Calcium Not more than 1.0%.
12 Iron Not more than 500 ppm.
13 Assay Not less than 22.0% and not more than 28.0% of MgO2.

PACKAGING

MOLPEROX® Mg is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 2 years. It is kept in a tightly closed container.
